At the core of FW is a simple idea; all change is local and all local change begins with a visionary. 

The gunmetal whistle feels worn and weathered. Much like the first years of FW. Dav hitchhiked across America, 3 college students rode their bikes back across, and a small crew of us slept in bunk beds only to wake up and fight toward a goal most called impossible - peace in Congo.  There were many nights without sleep and many days with only pasta for food, but we were filled with the unquenchable desire to see change. 

Wherever you are, you too can become a local leader.  If you want it bad enough.  Wear the gunmetal and be a whistleblower for peace.
